One of Asia’s biggest low cost carrier – AirAsia X now operate flights to Honolulu, Hawaii via Osaka from Kuala Lumpur 4x weekly starting on June 28, 2017.
For everyone to enjoy the new route of AirAsia X, they’re giving away a promotional fare rate of RM499 ALL-IN for bookings made between February 11 to February 26 for travel period from June 28 to Feb 6, 2018.
Last January 24, 2017, AirAsia X announced that they received clearance from the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) to fly to any destination in the US.
Since there will be a lay-over in Osaka, Japan, AirAsia confirmed that transiting in Osaka will not require passengers to have a Japanese visa. Passengers can return directly to their seat after clearing security with any carry-on luggage.
However, if passengers want to take time to stroll around Osaka, they can opt for the ‘multi-city option’ prior to booking their flights. But this will require them to get a Japanese visa.
